Passenger Trains > Scenes along NJT's Raritan Valley Line 2nd 1/2 Winter 2026

Having been a fan of the wonderful sunlight offered along many stretches of NJT's Raritan Valley Line, including the stretch that overlaps with Conrail's Shared Assets Lehigh Line, I spent the second half of this winter railfanning along this route. For every ALP-45 locomotive that has wrap and decals on them, that helps add variety to the rolling stock on the RVL. While many aren't the biggest fans of the PL42AC engines, even having at least one work RVL trains helps add to the variety. By 2031, all of the remaining PL42AC engines still in service are supposed to be retired by then so this is definately the time to catch them while they are still running.
