Eastern Canada Trip Part 2: Trip on VIA14
Author: Passfanatic

On 3/25, I began my trip on VIA Rail Ocean Train # 14 at Gare Centrale Station in Montreal and took that to Halifax. I had an amazing trip on the eastbound Ocean. The crew was very professional and had amazing job knowledge. The food on the train was very good. Those HEP cars have been holding out well, considering their age. Those Renaissance Cars still feel pretty new. I was able to get photos of the head end power at some of the stations, although I had to get permission first.

Thanks for sharing your trip here. Is this a one night trip, or were you on-board for 2 nights? Is it a daily train?

Lastly, are the coach seats in those cars comparatively as comfortable as the coaches on the Canadian, or compared to Amtraks Amfleet coaches?
