Some Easter Bunny Specials

1. It's the day before Easter, 2026. West Chester Rail Lines GP9-6499 is pulling into the station in downtown West Chester with the Easter Bunny Express train.
6499 was built in October of 1966 as Baltimore & Ohio 6499 and later served on Ohio Central. 9:47AM on 4-4-26 in West Chester, PA.

2. Colebrookdale Railroad's Easter EGG-Spress train has departed the station for a short trip just past Greshville Road a couple of miles ahead. GP38-2-5128 is on the point. On the left, the "Huron" is under restoration. 12:06PM on 4-4-26 in Boyertown, PA.

3. Colebrookdale Railroad GP38-2-5128 is crossing Greshville Road with the W/B Easter EGG-Spress train. 12:28PM on 4-4-26 in Boyertown, PA.

4. New Hope Railroad's W/B Easter Bunny Express is on former Reading Railroad trackage as it arrives at NHRR's Lahaska station on Street Road. NHRR GP30-2198 is on the point and will run around the train here, and lead long hood forward back to New Hope. 2198 was built in June of 1963 as Pennsylvania Railroad 2250 and later served on Penn Central & Conrail. Difficult to beat a GP30 on the point. 2:21PM on 4-4-26 in Lahaska, PA.

5. Here, at the Lahaska station on Street Road, NHRR GP30-2198 is leading, long hood forward, for the return trip of the E/B Easter Bunny Express back to New Hope. 2:28PM on 4-4-26 in Lahaska, PA.

6. Although GP30-2198 is lettered as New Hope & Ivyland, the railroad now is known as the New Hope Railroad (NHRR). The engineer is patiently waiting for the train to board its passengers for the 3PM excursion departure. 2:54PM on 4-4-26 in New Hope, PA.
