LaVergne Ave. in Berwyn, IL is a station on the Metra/BNSF suburban line from Chicago to Aurora. It's immediately west of the BNSF Cicero Yard.

In CB&Q and BN days, it was a good spot to watch freight trains entering and leaving Cicero Yard. Provided you understood that in Berwyn it is not OK to park on the street in front of someone's house - it's like a year-round version of the Chicago "dibs chair" system after blizzards, but without the chairs (or the snow).
