Passenger Trains > UP Niles Sub shut down between FO30 and NI014?

My in-laws called me to say they saw an EB Capitol (Compass S) from their house by Jarvis in Newark, CA. Not being normal routing, I checked Transitdocs and saw 543 had just hit Newark Jct where 544 was waiting its turn on the single track Coast Sub towards Oakland.
There was a fair amount of grass fire smoke earlier coming from the Union City area. Was there a fire near/at the grass adjacent to the Union City BART yard and Niles Sub?

Nothing on the news so far.

Edit: 544 wound up taking Niles to Fremont Centerville station. I can hear it blowing for Niles Tower out my window now. I guess the hold showing on Transitdocs has now been lifted.
