Passenger Trains > 6th Amtrak Cascades Airo trainsetDate: 07/08/26 07:45 6th Amtrak Cascades Airo trainset Author: highballer1 It’s been reported this morning that the 6th cascades Airo trainset is moving towards Philadelphia after leaving Siemens Florin plant. Anyone heard anything about when the other four or at least one, might be heading westbound to Seattle?

I suppose delaying Cascades Airo service a bit to get the expanded Seattle maintenance base that's designed to handle Airos closer to full operation might make some sense, but we'll see. I haven't heard anything about when another set will head west, but I've heard they'd like to have three sets here before putting Airos into operation.
