 The MBTA's most recent Heritage unit was released today , the 1072 . It is painted for the Boston & Maine in the McGinnis scheme : blue , white and black and features a McGinnis "B&M" logo on it's nose .

An interesting choice, since I'm pretty sure that scheme was a one-off on the B&M.

B&M's GP9s were numbered 1700-1749 , fifty units .

Here's 1072 earning at least a portion of her keep shoving Boston-bound MBTA train 410 out of Ayer at 0748 Friday 9/4/26 past the Railside Live live cam. Looks pretty good!
