Colorful #3 with rebuilt Metrolink cars

Last Sunday (August 23), Amtrak #3 passes through Highgrove, CA behind ‘Phase VII’ painted 78, 23, Metrolink coaches 152, 153 and its usual nine car train. Running about 2 ½ hours late, the Metrolink Bombardier coaches are returning home to LA, fresh from being refurbished by Talgo-SYSTRA in Milwaukee.

That newish Metrolink non-paint scheme is a whole lot better then the "ribbons" scheme that the Rotem cars were delivered in.
