Steam in Wales, Narrow Gage and great Fall scenery

I did a trip from Abersytwyth in Wales up into the  hills of the Vale of Rheidol

even in early Fall the scenery is perfect... in some ways reminiscent of parts of North America

Stunning scenery.That lake/dam that you passed looks like where 617Squdron practiced for the dam busting raids.

similar yes

 they practised on Derwent Water i think, in the Lake District.. a few hundred miles North of here

a few scenes at Devils Bridge the terminus with the loco, and back  at Aber after sunset
