Globetrekker on PBS last night had a great show
about Viet Cong trains.It was 99% trains and not
taking a train.
I know past shows can be traced and seen again.

when i was in Vietnam mid 1967-mid 1968 the Viet Cong didn't run any trains. South Vietnam tried to run some between Saigon and Long Bin, but that was reduced to a few local trains between Saigon an Cholon about 5 miles after the Tet Offensive. I rode one loco a few hundred feet. Have some slides. Sorry I missed the program. I watch and support PBS, but did not catch it.
