It uses overhead catenary and is almost entirely elevated. This is the first of two planned lines. The second line will connect downtown to the international airport.

And -- electric trains in Panama City? wow..... Didn't know about these. Only knew about the diesel-pulled tourist train that includes the former SP 3/4 dome. Yeah, some cities in other countries have some really interesting buildings. Here?> plain-Jane or "brutalist", all of which definitely got hit with a very large "ugly stick",. Good for Panama City for building something different and interesting -- and great that the architects designed something unique and nice-looking. |
