Picture 2 - Small country station at Amazar. Notice the Cyrillic and Roman lettering.
Picture 3 - Lunch stop at a larger station. Delicious deep fried dough wrapped around a sausage.

Russia will be reducing defense spending in 2018 while allocating $10B additional for upgrades to rail lines in the Arctic and the BAM, more double deck long-distance sleeping cars and additional high speed trainsets

The rail system appears to be very well maintained.
The plans for a new station appear to be elaborate.
