International Railroad Discussion > Helsinki to Vladivostok-Part 36Date: 02/04/18 10:58 Helsinki to Vladivostok-Part 36 Author: CNStratford Eofey Pavolich Amur Oblast. Who is the station named after. Google says "was a Russian entrepreneur and adventurer, best known for his exploring the Amur river region and his attempts to colonize the area for Russia. " What an education we got.
Picture 1 - Modern station. Picture 2 - We had a very skilled mechanic on the train. Normally he was called on to repair our air-line style toilet, but here he is repairing a door that has been damaged. Picture 3 - As we leave Eofey Pavlich, a repair train is spotted just masking an other plinthed steam locomotive. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 02/04/18 10:58 by CNStratford.
