Found the first caboose turned eatery in Nasu, Tochigi Prefecture and the second that was once a ramen restaurant in Sano, Tochigi Prefecture. In my travels I have seen other repurposed cabooses but nearly impossible to stop and take a picture on Japanese roads.

Maybe one of these class Yo3500s or Yo5000s.

We call it "Cyasyo-sya" a car for the conductor.
