Last night there was a show on about the Gahn.
While watching,I recall an Aussie posting
often about his country and the trains.
If he is still on TO please post again,I miss
your trains.

Well, that is a bust. I signed up and then was told "you cannot watch this program outside of Australia" !
Now that IS a crok of crap !

And I have tried to watch US programs and received the same answer (Change USA for Australia)

I don't know if any of the youtube videos listed are of the BBC programs but years ago they had a series, "Great Railway Journeys" and one show was The Gahn and another on the transcontinental (east-west) train. The programs covered the original Gahn route which didn't go all the way coast-to-coast north-south.

Both are excellent.
