Vale wood train X wood truck (Brazil)
Author: pedrop

Hi, this accident happened last week in Vale (EFVM) tracks at VCP ( Conselheiro Pena, MG). A truck loaded with wood was caught  by an empty wood train when crossing the tracks. In this battle among truck and train for the same load, the train won.
Pics from a friend.

Amazing that two of the logs pierced the window in the nose door.

Yikes. I hope no one was hurt. The image of logs in the loco reminds me of people who think it's funny to put straws up their nose.
I enjoy your photos.
I had a grand-uncle whom I never met, a civil engineer, who moved to Brazil and worked on the radically new city, Brazilia.

Same results as state-side; train 1. truck(car)(pedestrian) 0!

Nice, I imagine he worked in the construction of Brasilia city. It was a huge project in the end of 1950´s.
