Waiting a long time to a pedestrian cross the tracks (Brazil)

It happened at Vale last week. A Bradypodidae was crossing the tracks and almost was hit by a Vale ore train. This kind of animal moves too slow, so it took a long time to cross the tracks.

Looks like one of the Grateful Dead.....they are about that slow now.... :) The hair color is certainly spont-on and the white eyebrows too....

My goodness!   So glad that they waited til it had time to cross the tracks -- verrrrrr y S L O W L Y !!    "Speed" is not in that animal's dictionary!   

I never ever thought of creatures like that being a problem for railroads down in Brazil.   "Learn something new every day!"   And today, for me, "Learn tWO new things today!"   I really have to start visitning this forum and the Europran forum more often.  Lotsa great photos, etc.!
