International Railroad Discussion > More SD70ACe/45 to VLI (Brazil)

VLI did an agreement with EMD for more broad gauge SD70ACe/45. New units are been built at EMD plant in Sete Lagoas, MG. Also, EMD is transfering the leasing of five former ALL units to VLI.
Yesterday, Rumo railroad started to move the former ALL units to Progress Rail shops in Hortolandia, SP.
At night, the special train derailed while crossing a fill that was damaged by the rain.

Good stuff Rezende...  how many new ACe’s is VLI getting?  We were lucky to shot the ALL units at EMD..

VLI is getting all Rumo SD70's (former ALL) and possible the 20 Eldorado units, plus 16 new ones.
