Downunder 2018 Review
Author: AussieGWAdriver

Hi all,

After a 12 month plus absence on the sidelines i'm back. Here is a look back at 2018 of my favourite shots working on the railways and following them.

1. Darwin to Adelaide intermodal service, 6DA2 sits in Alice Springs yard between shunting moves with ALF21 and ALF19 on 1/6/18.

2. Genesee & Wyoming's former Freghtlink shunt locomotives, FJ104 and FJ105 sits in Alice Springs yard on 1/6/18. The Clyde-GM/EMD built model G6B units are powered by a 650hp 6-567C.

3. Waiting to depart Tailem Bend yard in South Australia on sunrise is GWA empty grain train to Wolseley hauled by GWA006, GWA003 and GWU006 on 1/12/18. The train has a crew van attached as it was being worked by a relay crew.

Cheers,
Justin
