The newest SD70ACe fleet scrapped? (Brazil)
Author: pedrop

Hi, After just six years since the production of the first SD70ACe's in Brazil, twenty units that belongs to Eldorado celulose (a huge pulpwood company) are resting in a dead line in Aparecida do Taboado, MS state. The company had problems with corruption in the last government and are under investigation. All locomotives and cars are parked in siding inside the company for more than three years. An inspection done by VLI railroad mechanics revealed that the diesel engines and other parts have severe corrosion points, so they gave up a proposal to by the locomotives. So, if the situation do not chance in a few time, these can be the newest SD70AC fleet scrapped.
1) The drawing of the Eldorado units made by friend Carlos,
2 and 3) printscreens of a video showing the units in the siding.

Looks like you could quietly bury them, and no one would know.

Hi, Carlos is the best decals producer here. The drawing is the guide to decal applying.

I imagine the exhaust stacks are blocked since we perceive that the radiator fans are blocked too.
