there seems to be a lot of controversy on the building of the FTL. Unfortunately I do not understand any of the videos on uTube.

There were a lot of corruption in the last four governments in railroad construction in Brazil, and FTL was one of the railroads that had money stolen in this process. But the new government is focused in privatization of the railroads under construction to avoid to put public money there and conclude the construction faster.

Interesting! I’m also surprised that they’re using old U8B GE’s - those strike me as super small, vs. the actual power on other narrow gauge lines (ES43BBi’s and SD70ACE-BB’s)
