China high speed

A few days ago, I rode the high speed from Harbin to Dandong. We covered the 500 miles in 4 hours. It was fast, smooth, quiet and punctual. The fastest speed that I saw was 182 mph.

Just got back from China a couple of weeks ago. We rode in the same kind of train that you did and hit a top speek of 308kph/192.5mpg -- very smooth ride, and quiet! There are faster ones out there that go 350kph.
