Hi, After almost an year testing on MRS system, SD80ACe demonstrator 8080 and SD70ACe 7044 returned today to EMD plant. These units were specially adapted to test on MRS due to the long tunnels where the common SD70ACe demonstrators had issues with tractive effort and overheating. The two units received new air intake system to avoid to keep smoke and hot air from the top.

It is said that the couple returned to EMD to remove the soeciall adaptation dobe for MRS and then will be send to VLI north system.
