The Last Dragons - Steam in China
Author: ETFuller

Travis Dewitz recently traveled to the Chinese province of Xinjiang to photograph the last remaining steam locomotives. It was a long distance journey to a time and a place where fire and steam still rule.

Thank you! A really great series. Especially like the 'volcano' coming out of the stack in the dark.

Excellent. Other than a few coal mines in Bosnia that still  use steam for shunting, this is the last area in the world using industrial steam. Poland has the last non-tourist steam passenger operation. Now on life support for one more year.
