Hi all,

Back again with a few images over the last two months. All in South Australia unless noted.

1. Having landed in Adelaide nearly two months earlier, former Queensland GT22C-3 units 2262, 2261 and 2269 await movement at Pt. Adelaide on 8/23/19. The units were part of five that were shipped from South Africa on the Thunder Bay. They had been had been sold to Genesee and Wyoming Australia by Progress Rail for operation on the narrow gauge iron ore network at Whyalla. They are slowly being moved to Progress Rail's Pt. Augusta Workshop for painting and conversion back to air brake before entering traffic.

2. Bulldog CLP17 leads fellow EMD unit ALF22 as they assist in loading a grain train at Port Pirie on 8/28/19.

3. Awaiting departure from GWA's Dry Creek North yard, ALF24, GWA005 and GM43 are on 1911S empty copper ore service to Wirrida on 9/1/19. GM43 would be detached at Pt. Augusta along the way.

Next lot.

1. After running refuelling and running around the train, GWA005 and ALF24 prepare to depart Manguri for Wirrida with 9112S on 9/2/19. The crew car will stay on the rear for the 70km trip to Wirrida where it will be remarshalled behind the locomotives.

2. The rear view of 9112S at Wirrida.

3. The crew van, FDDY01. Originally built as South Australian Railways Bluebird railcar 101. A non powered driving trailer car built at their Islington Workshops in 1955.

Next lot.

1 and 2. It is around 0330 hours in the morning as intermodal service 6DA2 waits on the crossing loop at Illoquara in the Northern Territory (220km north of Alice Springs) with GWA006 and CLP14 on 9/21/2019.

3. Awaiting departure from Snowtown is 6AQ7 loaded grain to Moree in New South Wales with GWA007 and G533 up front on 9/27/2019.

Next lot.

1. NR31 sits outside the paint shop at Islington Workshops wearing the new Great Southern livery for the upcoming passenger train with the same name for Journey Beyond Rail (formerley Great Southern Rail), 10/2/19.

2. Passing through Balhannah on a gloomy day is Pacific National service 3PM6 with NR15, NR109, G530, G526 and AN3 on 10/4/19.

3. Preserved at the Loxton Pioneer Village is South Australian Railways Rx class 4-6-0 steam locomotive No.55 on 10/13/19. It was built by the SAR in November 1913.

Next lot.

1. Another shot of Rx55 at Loxton.

2. Former Yorke Peninsula Rail 'Redhen' railcar, 406 sits in a state if disrepair at the Big Orange near Berri on 10/14/19. This suburban diesel hydraulic railcar was built by the South Australian Railways in 1959.

3. Specialized Container Transport's Clyde-EMD built G8, T414 awaits its next turn of duty in their Penfield yard on 10/20/19. It was originally built for the BHP as a high nose G8 in 1956. Rebuilt with a new cab and nose in 2006.

Next lot.

1. Paused during movements at Wirrida, GWB102 leads ALF19 on 9112S on 10/21/19. The GT46C-ACe Gen II locomotives built by Progress Rail at Muncie are fianlly entering traffic.

2. Another shot of 9112S, this time alot further down the track at Nantawarra on 10/22/19.

3. Pulling into the crossing loop at Mt. Barker Jct is Pacific National service 3PM6 with NR87, NR37, AN7 on 10/25/19.

Last lot.

1. Approaching Balhannah, NR116 and AN4 lead Pacific National service 6MP1 on 10/25/19.

2. Currently undergoing a major overhaul at the Dry Creek MPC is GWA unit ALF18 as it sits outside the wash bay on 10/26/19.
