Hi, yesterday afternoon I received the visit of friend Rony and we stayed at EVP yard watching the trains. We also followed MRS train O781 from EVP to ENG yard. Here are the pics and videos. Enjoy.

1- arriving at EVP yard, we found nine VLI GE U20C's and two Vale  BB40-9W's.
2 - 3) The rainy season is doing a good job to the weed.

The first two engines are showing lots of rust and appear not to have been painted in many years. Don't they normally take better care of the engines than that?

4 - Fallen flag fca 3858 was attacked by graffit "artists".

5 - 6) Big and small GE's.

Unfortunately VLI do not take care of the old units. In the past they were better maintained, but nowadays we perceive that even the new units need better care.

7 - 9) Two of these U20C's had air leaking when ready to departure the yard with a lime train, so they were uncoupled from the train and sent to the station area to wait for the mechanic.

22 - 23) We took the car and drive to ENG yard to wait for train O781. Here it is at ENG siding in slow speed to be prepared to stop in the red signal ahead.

Now is time for the videos.

27 - Train O781 at EVP yard. It is going to EKE yard to get containers and iron cast gondolas, that's why it has four units. It will come back with two DPU units.

29 - The train stops at the siding  to receive a new licence to go ahead.

30 - Since the train O781 stopped at ENG for a new licence we decided to go back to EVP yard to wait for Vale coal train C565. Here is a video  running along the tracks at ENG yard.
