Just as information, picture 723308 on railpictures.net shows a 2-8-2 hauling a train out of the open pit coal mine at Sandaoling, China on January 16, 2020.

Two German tour companies and possibly some others are still running tours to Sandaoling in 2020. The last industrial steam in regular service with the possible exception of some shunting at mines in Bosnia. Go now while you still have the chance.
