This station is at a junction of narrow and broad gauge railways.

Last clue. The narrow gauge railway served by this station  is a UNESCO World Heritage site and world famous. Originally built to bring tea out of the tea plantations.

New Jalpaiguri Junction, India

Close but no. New Jalpaiguri is the end of the line. This is Siliguri Junction, the next station up the line. On our excellent tour of the Darjeeling Railway in 2017 the lowland section up to Siliguri Junction is the only part of the line we didn't cover.
