DPU between coal and empty cars (Brazil)

I miss my time railfaning through Vale narrow gauge system. Here is an old image that I like to review. It shows the power of narrow gauge trains.
Locomotive BB40-9W 1161 working as DPU in a mixed train of coal and empty ore cars passing through Desembargador Drumond (VDD) yard.
