Colombo to be specific. And here's the other station there.....Colombo Fort. Photos were taken prior to Far Rail's excellent Sri Lanka steam charters in 2018.

Yes it's amazing how many he knows!  Europe is expected, but Colombo, Sri Lanka?  I wasn't familiar with either station until I went there.

I've never been to Sri Lanka, but I have colleagues who have and by coincidence I recently watched an episode of the German series "Eisenbahn Romantik" about it. That along with the "island" clue gave it away. Though I'll admit that I had to look up the station's proper name; all I could remember was that there is a terminus and "that other one" :-)
