Great photos Pedro. And I love the perspective in number 12 with the cement plant in the background.

Yes, I second that, great shots. Pedro, how are the coal cars unloaded?

16) Here it is how they handle with it. In the picture they are unloading  another kind of ore. Coal drains better than this.

Thank You. I've never seen this type of unloading before. I assume both sides are unloaded
at the same time.  Is that picture at a factory that is using the coal or ore and they use this
type of facility to get it unloaded.  Does it get moved around by a conveyor belt or something
to get where it needs to be? I would imagine the  hole in the ground cannot accommodate a
complete train of coal.

17) This photo was taken in another location, where the gondolas doors are open over a conveyor belt that sends the ore to the factory. Here in my area, the train passes on a bridge over a pit where front loaders take the ore to the trucks that will take the cargo to the factories nearby.
The coal we see passing through my town is sent to small steel mills, cement plants and also are reloaded on Vale trains in GDE class gondolas and sent back about 500km to a big steel mill, where they are unloaded on car dumpers. We call this train "the travelling coal", since it comes here just to change the type of freight car and goes back to Vale system.
In the picture below we see trucks dumping on the same conveyor belt. Also we see a front loader taking the ore from a patio below and dumping to the belt too.
