Author: Utahfannz

One of the most spectacular section of Railway in South Africa, was the "Lootsburg Pass" a desolate dusty wind blown sectin between Graff Reinett in the Valley of Desolation and Rosmead, with stiff grades to tax the ability of the best of firemaen.
Shot 1 . Passing through Pretoriuskloof.
Shot 2. On the Pass with 19B Class 4.8.2's 1402-1412.the wind was that stong trying to consolodate ones footing was difficult, and the exhauts of the 19b's shows it.
Shot 3 ging away shot giving on an idea of the country.
