International Railroad Discussion > Map Series - Southern Africa

I've covered 20,850 miles on this large continent in 7 countries. Most of the trips were steam safaris. Two trips were made to  Dar es Salaam on Rovos Rail. In 2023 I hope to do the trip from Dar to the west coast in Angola. That would add two more countries to the list. Note that Eritrea and Tanzania have been inserted onto the map which is southern Africa only.

How do they plan to organize the Angola trip? I was unaware that there is an operational route through.

Angola has one of my favorite national flags. Cogwheel and machete for the win!
