VLI poor tracks in Bahia (Brazil)
Author: pedrop

Hi,  I have posted threads of Brazilian  railroads that shows modernity and efficiency, but there are some areas where the railroads are not so efficient. Many locations had the tracks abandonned for long time when they beloged to the governnent. We are speaking about poor tracks, old locomotives  and desolated areas. Many locations looks like California  and Arizona in the old days.
Here is a collection of small videos received by cell phone from friend Elisson. That area is the  home of tiny GE's like U5B,  U8, U10B, U12B and U13B.
Enjoy

Pedro

2) A load facility at DNC.

I like this one. Train was going at a pretty sprightly pace in the first several scenes. Then the poor track took over. Good sound track.

Interesting video of the older track with some rock and roll.

Good coverage of an out-of-the-way operation.  Thanks.
