International Railroad Discussion > PT KAI - Indonesian National Railways - EMD GT38AC LocomotivesDate: 10/08/20 21:32 PT KAI - Indonesian National Railways - EMD GT38AC Locomotives Author: DelMonteX I'm unclear on if these are new, or were sent over for repair. I'm seem recall they were damaged when they first arrived at Progress Rail in Tacoma WA. I was told they are the power equivalent of the SD70ACe locomotives now common in the US. In anyevent these two, CC2051326 & CC2051315 are ready to loaded on a ship and sent back home.

Many of their steam locomotives had the same, with stars affixed. Photo below from July 1978
