International Railroad Discussion > Rush Hour in Cairo, EgyptDate: 11/25/20 07:50 Rush Hour in Cairo, Egypt Author: masterphots A morning commuter train arrives at Cairo's Ramses station. Jan 9, 1985. This was on a cool winter morning. I can't imagine what it would be like in mid-summer. The loco is an EMD G22, thanks to GN1969 for the correction.. I rode a couple of these trains midday, and they were crowded even then.
