1. Ladies in Waiting at De Aar shed 4/13/88. 25NC class 4-8-4s Marta, Lady Jane and Katy await their next assignment to haul a freight train north to Kimberly. 2. 25NC 3517 at speed near Potfontein. 4/12/88. That's Harold Edmonson wearing the UP 3985 cap in the gangway 3. Alfred County Ry. 2 ft gauge Garratt 141 hauls empty long flats back to Donnybrook. I seem to remember David Wardale was involved when the ACR refurbished those engines, so could be. |
