Nice catch of the new Class 2000 sets meeting there. For people who might not know, that's Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line.

Thank you for pointing out the new equipment.

All of 1988 built class 02 (336 units)  are going to be replaced with 2019 built class 2000.

Here are some more.

Hi Hiroshi i was supposed to have been in Tokyo about now on holidays  but was unable to travel this year  next year i hope to return for the spring

i believe the blossoms only last about 7 to 10 days if that is correct?

Usually, there is a report of the blooming toward the end of March, here in the greater Tokyo-Yokohama area.
Then it will take a week or so to become fully bloomed.  then a week, you can enjoy the blossoms.

Here are some more from the Denenchofu area.

Such a beautiful set of pictures. You have a wonderful way of framing your pictures, and incredible command of depth of field. Congratulations.

Before my son moved out to Tsunan, Niigata, he lived in Meguro. I've walked along the river in photo 1, but never when the sakura were in blossom.

Thank you for sharing this beautiful time of year.
