International Railroad Discussion > Broken rail cause a mess (Brazil)

Yesterday a Rumo railroad cellulose train derailed after the locomotives pass on broken rail at Km 308 in Rodrigues Alves,  SP. The crew suffered light injuries.

Sorry you had another Messy derailment Pedro. Glad the crew wasn't badly hurt! Lots of clean-up ahead along with rebuilding the track.

The traction motors looked odd to me but I didn't knows why. Thanks for narrow gauge answer.

I forgot to mention that these C30-7 are former US units converted to broad gauge and later converted again to metric gauge.
