Empty lime train C580 (Brazil)
Author: pedrop

Hi, last Sunday 12/26 I watched empty train for lime C580 running through EVP yard with a trailing  SD70ACeBB on way to EMD shops near here. I imagine it is going there solve a problem that was not possible to be solved at VLI shops in Divinopolis MG.

1- 3) While I was waiting for the train C580,  I took some pictures of BB36-7 7493. It is former ATSF 7493, later NREX 7493, that arrived in Brazil in 2003 and was rebuilt to narrow gauge by Vale mining at Tubarão shops.

Nice look at all the power in the yard. Definate difference in size from the first two locomotives and the third locomotive on the li,e train. Your weather looks better these days. It is 8 degrees in Ritzville going down to near Zero tonight.

Thanks for posting this video Pedro. It says the SD70ACe-BB is on its way to the EMD shop - do you know why?
