The floods arrived here in EVP (Brazil)
Author: pedrop

Hi, last night the floods arrived in my town. Das Velhas river flooded some cities nearby and now Vespasiano.  Only part of downtown was flooded. The tracks were not affected here, but a few kilometers ahead many mudslides closed the line. Also, Vale and MRS are flooded and blocked by mudslides. So, we won't see trains running here in the next days.

1 - 3) VLI employees watching the floods of the road that cross under the tracks.

TERRIBLE! So much to deal with, clean up and sort out. You stay safe Pedro, and the ones around you. And like always, thank you for going out and documenting whats going on and posting it for the rest us us.

Looks like the rain is causing lots of water damage and mudslides. Looks like a big clean up coming soon. Stay safe Pedro!

No, just one. In picture four it is hidden by some trees.

That is the end of tracks 4. It is used to park MoW vehicles in the space from the switching key to the bumper.

The track between the train and the flooded roadway? I guess one of the rails is just covered by grass then?
