Ballast train in Humberto Antunes ( Brazil)
Author: pedrop

Hi, following my series of a trip through Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais states  two weeks ago, now I presents the photos and video of a ballast train leaded by a couple of old U23Cs climbing at low speed the 2.2% grade of Humberto Antunes yard.
If you haven't seen my last post in this series, use this link here Railfaning in Humberto Antunes .

1 - 2) The ballast train climbing the grade and meeting the couple of AC44i that works as pushers to the ore trains from Barra do Piraí to Humberto Antunes;

3) The train is small but it looks heavy to the old U23Cs.

Very NICE look at the Humberto Antunes area with it's tropical look. I enjoyed your video of the U23C's chugging slowly thru the area, The chugging sounds was great hear.
