EFE's fast-growing electrified commuter operation based in Concepcion now has new Alstom EMUs.  The line extends from Talcahuano/Concepcion south to Coronel,  with further extensions planned.  A second line runs from Concepcion east to Laja.

1.   Nearing Concepcion, a train crosses the Rio Bio Bio estuary.  2/1/22
2-3.   EMUs 106 and 108 at Escuadron station in San Pedro de la Paz   2/1/22

If they ever quit arguing and studying the issue,  they'll build a new one.  This one was damaged by the 2010 8.8 earthquake and was rebuilt but the new one will be double tracked.
