Grain overtaking the limestone (Brazil)
Author: pedrop

Today morning I was doing my daily walking on the road along the tracks when I watched an empty grain train overtaking and empty limestone train in EVP yard. Here are the images.

1 - 3) VLI BB40-9WMs with an empty train class C_19 for limestone waits the grain train to pass at side on mainline.

4) A truck crossing the tracks as the grain approaches;
5 - 6) Another couple of VLI BB40-9WM leading the empty grain.

Nice video Pedro, showing the grain train overtaking the limestone train. Looks like you are having nice weather.

Thanks Larry. Now we are entering the dry season with hot days and a bit cold nights. It's Fall  and it use to be hot like Summer.

Brazil has two gauges and here in my area we have the junction of both narrow and broad gauge. MRS is broad gauge (1,600 mm) and VLI and Vale are narrow gauge (1,000 mm).
