Larry Date: 05/26/22 03:53 Re: A horse, a truck and an SD18 (Brazil) Author: pedrop No, it's a horse. A typical horse common found in Brazil. They are a bit smaller than the wild ones found in US deserts in the past.

Date: 05/26/22 11:17 Re: A horse, a truck and an SD18 (Brazil) Author: pedrop It is SIGO system:
The Integrated Management System (SIGO) was a tool implemented in 1983 for operations, in addition to standardizing railway operations in Brazil, unifying all information and data to the operations of Rede Ferroviária Federal S/A (RFFS). Subsequently, they were adopted by the Brazilian Association of Technical Norms and became the current standard (until the present day) of labeling of rail vehicles in Brazil. The numbers and letters after the dash are explained in this article here. http://vfco.brazilia.jor.br/ferrovias/ef/codVeiculos.shtml All freight cars and locomotives have numbers and letters after in the end of the main number, but most companies preffer not to show them on the locomotives number boards. Buy if you look at the computer system you have the full number of each car and locomotives in the consist. tomstp Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I see the engine # is 5019.
