Express train E332 (Brazil)
Author: pedrop

Hi, on May 19 I found the VLI Express train E332 here in town waiting licence to proceed to the next siding. It was loaded with plastic canvas to Braken in Bahia state. The journey is about 2,150 km from here.

1 - 2) U20C 3860 and 2562 leading the train;
3) The flar cars with containers.

4 - 5) The first time I see a container vandalized in these E trains. Thanks to the piece of steel welded in suface of the flat car, the thieves couldn't open the door  as they needed;
6) As it is common seen in these cars, some brush from trees are growing up.

Nice video of Express train with the U-boats chugging along. Glad the thieves couldn't steal the contents inside the container.

RE,weld metal angle to the car for  just enough room
for the container.
American railroads need to notice and apply the same to
container loads.
