International Railroad Discussion > Train C417 here in town (Brazil)Date: 12/25/22 16:39 Train C417 here in town (Brazil) Author: pedrop Hi, yesterday 12/24/22 I had a nice surprise to find the train of empty gondolas C417 running here in town with a trio of BB40-3's. Even better, we had another BB40-3 parked with a ballast train on track 4.
1 - 2) BB40-3 8120 parked with a ballast train on track 4; 3) U20C 2690 on track 4 too. Pedro Rezende Vespasiano MG, Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 12/25/22 16:52 by pedrop. Date: 12/25/22 16:43 Re: Train C417 here in town (Brazil) Author: pedrop 4) Four BB40-3's in the yard. Nice gift for a Christmas eve;
5) Unit 8102 had a fire in the prime mover section and is returning to Divinopolis shops for repair; 6) The trio near the station. They belongs to Progress Rail and the railroad historians here could not get the data with them. An expert in SP or DRGW can identify them by the details in the carbody. The 81xx series have SD40-2 and SD40T-2. 8102 is a former tunnel motor. There are more pictures of it in railpicturesarchives.net
