The video is narrated in portuguese, but you can see the EMD Joule rival been tested by Vale.

In the 2000's fca railroad bought two chinese built SDD8 diesel model and discovered the units were not good and had no parts supplies. So, they were retired with less than four years of use.

Many years ago a Russian company entered the farm machinery market down here in Australia with a range of tractors . They had good success initally , but the company (Belarus) , had no consept of a spare parts supply. They didnt last long.
