International Railroad Discussion > DPU on the bridge (Brazil)

Hi, here it is a picture taken on November 4, 2016 while I was railfaning with a CSX engineer on the MRS "Ferrovia do Aço" (Steel Railroad). We see the DPU crossing iconic bridge over BR-267 road where we see the name of the Line built in the 1980´s for loaded trains only. The leading units are crossing Bom Jardim yard and are almost entering the 8,640 meters long tunnel ahead on way to Rio de Janeiro.

That's a cool picture Pedro of the DPU over the good looking bridge.

BTW, there was an issue with a fill on Ferrovia do Aco yesterday and all MRS trains are running through Centro Line. The company sent a warning note to the social medias to people watch out to trains in both direction on Centro Line. It's a nice chance to watch the heavy ore trains going down Mantiqueira hill.
