Hi, yesterday the ABPF Mikado 1424 almost collides with a car that got stuck on the tracks in São Lourenco, MG.

Wow!  I can't believe the train stopped in time.

I can't believe the car driver stopped and then started moving again and stops on the track.  Geeeeee.
Pedro:  Tell us about the steam engine.  Why was it running and who was running it , etc.

People with the truck sure were lucky the train was able to stop. Nice looking steam engine. What was the occation for the nice looking steam train?

The steam engine is former Central do Brasil rr meter gauge Mikado 2-8-2 #1424. It is Baldwin SN 59712 built in 1927. Nowadays it belongs to ABPF preservation group and run every weekend and hollidays between São Lourenço and Soledade, MG.

Thanks for the video .  The engine runs with a clear stack for a wood burner.
